Annual Reports. Simon Richards (Parish Council Chairman) A copy of Simon’s report is attached
John Howell (County Councillor) John reported on the PAGE campaign, looking back at the tremendous support from Drayton St Leonard. There will be a final meeting in November on the structure plan, and John hopes that DSL will be taken out of the plan at this meeting. After this the process moves into a new technical phase. He also reported on the South East plan. Also, there are plans to cut the 105/106 bus service that runs through Berinsfield. A petition has been started. John also discussed the road between Clifton Hampdon and Notcutts and the pressure on services that has occurred because of the expansion of Oxford and Didcot. |

Report on actions outstanding from the previous meeting 44/06 Village Hall third quote is still to be received. Simon Richards will chase and report at the next meeting. 44/09 State of village roads Ann Spiers has written to the SODC, but the potholes have still not been fixed. 44/10 Access and signage for public area at the ford The nuisance barking of dogs seems to be solved and no further action is required. Neville Pegram reported on the boundaries of Ford Cottage. NP has done a search and presented a map showing the legal boundaries. It does appear that the boundaries are being encroached, moving onto the land around the ford that is owned by the Oxford Highways. Action: Simon Richards to write a letter to Oxford Highways with copy of the map showing the boundaries, and cc. the owner. |
